Letter to Parents
Dear Parents / Guardians,
Training sessions during school term will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays
in school and/or Serangoon Stadium and / or Junior College.
Training session begins next Tuesday (10/01/12 ). During this first week, training
will be held in school at 2.30 pm –
4.30 pm .
For training in Serangoon stadium or SRJC, pupils must gather at the
galleria by 1.45 pm and
the bus will bring them to the venue at 2
pm (arrival approximately 2.30
pm ). The bus will bring the pupils back at 4.30 pm from the venue and should
approximately arrive back in school by 5
pm (under smooth traffic conditions). Please make transport
arrangement to bring your child home from school at 5 pm .
The committed team trains hard under the leadership
of our coach, Mr Lim Tiang Quee (http://redsports.sg/2008/07/16/lim-tiang-quee-coach/)
and our assistant coach, Mr Linus Lee. Through Direct School Admission, many
team members also secured places in schools like Singapore Sports
School , Nanyang Girls,
St. Nicholas Girls, Cedar, Tanjong Katong Girls, etc.
Selection for the National Track and Field
Championship will also be conducted soon as the competition dates are tentatively
to be from end of March to mid April.
Pupils are advised to bring along a small towel,
light snacks, water bottle and their running shoes.
